The Story
Built because the tool didn't exist.
Framerate started in a hard drive. Thousands of images from years of shooting across India — Theyyam rituals in Kerala, the ruins of Hampi, desert light in Rajasthan — sitting unorganised, unranked, and largely unseen. The shoot was the easy part. Everything after it wasn't.
The founder spent a decade building production systems at Verizon before coming back to photography full-time. The engineering instinct and the photographer's frustration pointed at the same problem: the infrastructure for visual content had never been built for the person who creates it. Framerate is that infrastructure.
