1. What we collect

Account information: email address and name via Clerk (our authentication provider).

Your photographs: uploaded to Cloudflare R2 storage. Used only to provide the service.

Classification data: technical and creative analysis results stored in our database (Neon/PostgreSQL).

Usage data: page views and feature usage via PostHog, EU-hosted (activated at launch). No advertising use.

Payment data: processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers.

Email logs: transactional emails sent via Postmark (delivery receipts only).

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate the service, send you reports and notifications you have requested, and improve our classification models (only with your opt-in consent via the corpus programme — see Terms §7).

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers listed above (Clerk, Cloudflare R2, Neon, PostHog, Razorpay, Postmark) — solely to operate the service.

4. Data retention

Your account and library: retained until you request deletion.

Corpus entries (if opted in): deleted within 30 days of consent withdrawal.

Email logs: retained for 90 days.

Payment records: retained as required by Indian tax law (typically 7 years).

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication and a first-party analytics cookie (PostHog). We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel.

8. Children

Framerate is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
